Status follows members of an HIV/AIDS support group who rally around a newly diagnosed man struggling to reconcile his diagnosis with the life he has built. The intimate production shines a light on HIV in Atlanta, where approximately one in 51 people is living with HIV, which is nearly twice the national average, and where Black, Hispanic, and LGBTQ+ communities are disproportionately affected.
Status is produced in partnership with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and the Black Leadership AIDS Crisis Coalition (BLACC).

A writer goes home to Lumpkin, GA, home to one of the nation's largest immigration detention centers, and witnesses the barbarity of the nation's immigration crisis, and a small town torn by poverty and the prison industry. Written by and starring former Out of Hand Associate Artistic Director, Lee Osorio. 40 performances in living rooms across Metro Atlanta paired with cocktail parties and conversations with community partners, including El Refugio, ACLU of Georgia, Asian Americans Advancing Justice-Atlanta, Latin American Association, Latino Community Fund, and Tahirih Justice Center.

Anybody’s Game examines economic mobility in Atlanta through the stories of working families navigating the region’s affordability crisis. The production highlights barriers to economic opportunity while inviting audiences to imagine solutions for a more equitable future. Inspired in part by Brian Goldstone’s Pulitzer Prize-winning book, There Is No Place for Us, the show shares the experiences of residents living in an Atlanta extended stay motel and explores how the game of life can deal anyone a setback and winning is often based on circumstances beyond our control.
