Science and Art

Out of Hand Theater offers workshops on communicating science through the arts to science students, teachers and scientists. These range in length from 45 minutes to a month or more. Using Out of Hand’s techniques for creating original performances, participants learn creative and effective ways to communicate scientific concepts. Out of Hand Theater is an artist in residence at the NSF/NASA Center for Chemical Evolution and the Emory University Center for Art and Creativity. Through workshops and events, we explore the places where science and art converge.
