The Show!
Out of Hand Theater is looking for multi-talented performer/creators to create The Show!, a 60 minute late-night Freekpeep Carnival based on the 10-in-1 Stringshow. The Show! revels in secrets and lies, the grotesque and awe-inspiring, and the sexy, scary other world behind the world. The Show! is never the same show twice because the audience runs the show. A ridiculously interactive Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Event, The Show! will be wild, big fun!!!!

The Skills:
A dedication to train for and learn basic tumbling and physical control

**Bonus Points if you can play musical instruments do stunts, magic or other killer skills.
The Audition!
Sunday, January 10th between 10am and 2pm
Emory University, Rich Building Room 210
We will audition in 2 groups.
Group 1 from 10 – 12pm.
Group 2 from 12 – 2 pm.
Prepare your Best 2 minutes. *Nope, we don’t really want to see your Hamlet (unless, of course, it involves a rat suit and unicycle.) Show your stuff. Anything. Bring it. We’ll also take you through a training sequence and we’ll make some pieces together. The Audition! is going to be big fun. Come ready to move.
The Rehearsals:
Weekly Development: Sundays from 10am – 2pm Starting Jan 17th
3 Long weekends (10am-5pm) - Saturday and Sunday January 30th & 31st , Feb 27th & 28th, and March 27th & 28th.
Monday Night Training w. Out of Hand January 11th – March 1st 6:30 – 8:30
Continue The Show!-Specific Training Mondays, March 8th, 15th, & 22nd 7-10pm.
Writing, research and creation homework
Week leading up to 1st performance: 7-12pm Mon/Tues/Wed March 29th-31st.
Company and Invited Show on April Fools Day!
The Performance Dates
Playing every Friday Night at 11pm from April 2nd – May 7th and May 21st - June 18th Horizon Theater in Little Five Points.
